Just before the world shut down due to Covid-19, I was completing an artist residency in Oaxaca, México with Pocoapoco. At the time, I was working as an art librarian and I wanted to expand both pedagogically and artistically through this residency. The result of the residency was Sonidos de Oaxaca, friendship, and gratitude. After the residency, I went back to work for only five days before entering lockdown. I am forever grateful for this experience.
