Oaxaca, 2024.

This was my first trip back to Oaxaca since the start of Covid. During this trip, the strain tourists have placed on the infrastructure and resources of the city was clear. I also witnessed tourists from around the world behaving as if stores and restaurants were part of a resort. The sense of entitlement from tourists was palpable. This trip made me reflect on my own tourism and whether or not it is the right decision to return in the future.
